This was book 3 in The Midnight Matings Series . After drinking the spiked champagne Asher who is a Phoenix Shifter tries to leave when the chaos breaks out when spots Zaiden who is a witch and part fae fighting off someone else. When they try to get out of the castle they are stopped by the guards because they haven't found mates. When the mating heat becomes to unbearable they have sex in the hall and Zaiden Kisses Ash and accidently claims him. After getting the mating seal they leave going their separate ways before reading the info that they were given. Once back home in Mexico Ash goes into heat and he doesn't know what to do he sets in clothes on fire when he remembers the info he reads it and realizes that they have to have sex every 24 hours so he calls Zaid to find out that he is going through the same thing so Ash fly's to Tennessee to be with him. This was a good book I liked both of these character's. Turns out Zaid is a doctor a sex therapist. One of his patience Andrew who is in counseling with his wife turns out he is gay and wants to tell his wife Denise. Turns out Andrew is stalking Zaid and Ash they think that he wants Zaid. The sex between these two is hot. I loved reading about this couple they go through ups and downs when Zaid doesn't know how to handle things he start pulling away. He has an ex who used him to get his magic and when he got it he dumped him so he left his family because he let his magic get taken. This was a well written book with no errors in grammar or spelling. I love reading this series each book and be read as a stand alone and I am looking forward to reading more books in this series.

I have a soft spot in my heart for phoenixes... so I was glad to see one included in this shifter/paranormal series.
No commend.
I have read all the Midnight maints books and only read 1 that I didnt care for. I hope the Series continues. I just finished this one. It was a suprise. )
I.really liked this story...Zaid and Ash were great together...I also. Liked the twist at the end as well..off to book 4....
This was great loved that the got rid of the bad guy ....I can't wait to read the next one again too..I will be reading it next....
I'm starting to really get into the "Midnight Matings" series. This one was quirky and unpredictable. The legendary phoenix is accidentally mated to another magical being. The sex is "scorching" but the story isn't taken over by it. For those of you who read a lot of who-done-its, you'll figure out who the bad guy is fairly quickly. Not to worry, this is still entertaining.
I liked this book, quite entertaining at times. Zaiden and Ash has a few challenges to overcome. They are quite cute together.
